Tiffany Hosey
Tiffany Hosey is a business executive, lawyer and innovator in construction analytics. She’s part of a keynote panel that will weigh in on the new tech, business models, social pressures, and more that will shape our industry over the next year.
Tiffany Hosey has been a civil litigator, construction executive, inventor/patent holder, founder and is now CEO of a construction data analytics technology company, BuilDATAnalytics. After working on construction sites, Tiffany saw an opportunity to apply her evidenced based background in law, to drive efficiencies into the construction business model. The enterprise software as a service she created, CTBIM, is the only solution that enables field crew to capture data that allows real time insights into contractor activities, percentage of project completion, accrued contractor earnings, asset tracking and a continuous, accurate view of project schedules. Tiffany has spoken to audiences at the GeoBim Design Conference, the Universities of Shady Grove and AIA on the tension between industry and institutions that data collection can present. She is a member of the Virginia Tech School of Construction MilSoc Industry Advisory Board and serves as an Innovation Fellow for the Universities of Shady Grove. A graduate of the George Washington University Law School and Georgetown University, she held a Class A Contractor’s License from the Commonwealth of Virginia and was certified in Quality Control Construction Management by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
