Liz Haggerty is president of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope and a metallurgical engineer with extensive experience leading the manufacturing of highly customized and standard building products. She’s part of the panel that will weigh in on the new tech, business models, social pressures, and more that will shape our industry over the next year.

Liz Haggerty is the president of Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope, the leader in architectural glazing systems, architectural glass and hardware. She leads the global business that spans North America, Europe and Australia with more than 7,000 employees working at over 80 manufacturing and fabrication plants, distribution warehouses, local sales branches and service centers.

During her 30+ year career, Liz has held numerous leadership positions in engineering, manufacturing, operational excellence, as well as sales and distribution. This includes serving as vice president and general manager of Global Ducted Systems for Johnson Controls, regional president of Carrier Enterprise, a joint venture between Watsco and Carrier (a UTC company); and a 20-year career at Carrier/United Technologies.

She was recently named a STEP Ahead Award honoree by the Manufacturing Institute and one of the top women in manufacturing by IndustryWeek.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Metallurgy, as well as an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
